Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. Installation on a Windows PC takes about 15 minutes, and Sy sets up the rest by interviewing you about your business.
Will it email my customers on its own?
Sy saves drafts for you to check. With Microsoft 365 it never sends mail at all. Contacting anyone who hasn't contacted you first always waits for you.
Can it spend money?
No. Payments, transfers, refunds, purchases and ad spend always wait for you, and no setting changes that.
Does it work with Square?
Yes, in beta. Sy reads sales summaries, orders, payments and customers. The connection is read-only.
Where does my business data go?
It stays on your computer. Sy runs on your own machines, and sign-in tokens are stored there, readable only by you. We don't sell your data, share it, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models.
